One of the most iconic jersey numbers in cricket, Dhoni has been using the #7 jersey for almost all of his career. It is in that number jersey that Dhoni has captained India to several ICC tournament wins, like the 2007 World T20 and the 2011 WOrld up.
So, when the IPL came around in 2008, Dhoni wore the #7 jersey for CSK as well, winning five league titles as the team captain.
