MS Dhoni Shows Off Dancing Moves In Uttarakhand: Former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni recently made a rare public appearance as he was seen dancing in Uttarakhand to a local song.
The former Indian Cricket Team captain retired from international cricket in 2020 after playing his final match in a blue jersey in 2019. Since then, all the cricket he has been playing every year is the IPL.
Until 2023, he captained the Chennai Super Kings, even leading the team to their fifth title that year. In 2024, while he still was the wicketkeeper for the side, he gave up the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad. He has now been retained by CSK ahead of the 2025 IPL season for Rs. 4 crores as an uncapped player because he has not played a game for India in five years.

Dhoni, who now spends most of his time with his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, and daughter, Ziva, is evidently a fan of the mountains, as he regularly visits the Himalayan states. While he is from Jharkhand, his family can trace their roots to the mountains. He was most recently seen dancing to a popular pahadi song.
In a recent video of the veteran wicketkeeper, he was seen dancing with the locals to the popular song “Gulabi Sharara.” In the video, he can be seen vibing to the song and showing off his moves.
Now 43 years old, MS Dhoni will be the oldest player in IPL 2025. While he will be an integral part of CSK’s think tank, it remains to be seen how much he will be involved in actual on-field gameplay. Over the last couple of seasons, Dhoni has been showing his age a little while fielding, as he has hurt his knees on a few occasions. He also comes down to bat quite low down the order.
Despite that, the former Indian Cricket Team captain is a massive asset to the IPL, mostly in how many eyes and how much business he brings to the league. So naturally, the BCCI wants him to play for as long as he can.
