MS Dhoni gets angry at cameraman: Former CSK and India captain MS Dhoni is someone who rarely shows his emotions and feelings in front of the camera. But this time, for a rare instance, even the ever-cool Dhoni lost his cool and got irritated at the cameraman who kept showing him while he stood in the CSK dressing room during the CSK vs LSG match.
CSK hosted KL Rahul’s Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday night at the Chepauk for match number 39 of the IPL 2024. The 42-year-old five-time IPL-winning captain is the biggest name in the league, and hence, it’s understandable if the broadcasters want to pan on Dhoni as much as possible when he’s involved in the game.
The camera crew this season, though, has been following a lot of Dhoni’s activities, even when he’s in the dressing room. On Tuesday, during CSK’s batting innings, once again the cameraman put the lens on Dhoni and showed him on the giant screen to the fans in the stadium and on the television sets and digital devices to the millions of fans across the globe.
While Dhoni got a huge cheer from the Chepauk crowd as he was shown on the giant screen in the stadium, the CSK legend got annoyed with the cameraman and gestured at throwing the bottle. Soon, within seconds, the camera moved away from Dhoni.

Meanwhile, Dhoni has been on a hot streak with the bat this season. Coming in to bat the death overs, the 42-year-old has smashed 91 runs in 35 balls, striking at 260. He’s clobbered 8 fours and 8 sixes and is yet to be dismissed even once this season.
He cracked 37* (16) against Delhi Capitals in Vizag, 20* (4) against Mumbai Indians in Mumbai, and 28* (9) against LSG in Lucknow. In Chennai, against LSG again, Dhoni got to face only one ball, the last ball of CSK’s innings and made the money for the crowd worth it by blasting Marcus Stoinis for a boundary on the legside as the Chepauk crowd went crazy.
CSK finished on 210/4 courtesy of captain Ruturaj Gaikwad’s sublime century (108* off 60) and Shivam Dube’s stunning knock of 66 (27).
