Mohammed Siraj Deletes Instagram Story: Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj shared a cryptic post on his Instagram story, addressing the media about asking ‘baseless’ questions around him. He then quickly took the story down, sparking even more rumours regarding the subject of the post.
Siraj, who is one of the highest-rated Indian pacers today, is currently preparing for the upcoming IPL 2025. In the mega auction, he was bought by the Gujarat TItans for Rs. 12.25 crore.
However. Siraj’s name is now making the rounds not because of his game, but because of this post and whatever the rumour mill is churning up about the Hyderabad-native.

There can be a few reasons behind his recent cryptic post. Some believe that it is in regard to his recent statements about him not playing in the recent Champions Trophy 2025, of which he wasn’t in the Indian Cricket Team squad.
In a recent interview with the Times of India, the 31-year-old kept his case, claiming to be one of the best bowlers in the world, despite not being picked up for the CT squad.
“I have taken the most wickets with the old ball in the past year among the world’s ten fastest bowlers. My economy rate is also low. The numbers speak for themselves—I have performed well with both the new and old ball,” he said.
However, these statements, or his selection to the CT squad as a whole have likely nothing to do with the recent post. It is more likely that the whole story is about the rumours involving Mohammed Siraja and actress Mahira Sharma.
For a few months now, rumours have emerged of a relationship between Siraj and actress and Bigg Boss 13 contestant Mahira Sharma. These stories caught a new wind when Sharma arrived on the red carpet for a recent event, the paparazzi teased her about her alleged relationship with Siraj, saying,
“Kal se IPL start ho raha hai. Mahira ji kiske side ho aap? Kaunse team ko support kar rahe ho? Aapke favourite team (From tomorrow, IPL is starting. Whose side are you on? Which team are you supporting? Which is your favourite team?).”
Siraj and the Gujarat Titans will kick off their IPL 2025 campaign on Tuesday, March 25, when they take on the Punjab King in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
