Michael Clarke Says There is a Rift in MI Squad: Mumbai Indians are having a lacklustre season this time in IPL. The 5-time champions are limping at just a position above the table-bottomers Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Even before the season started, Mumbai’s problems had resumed.
Mumbai could only win three in nine matches in IPL. This is not all. Now reports are coming out that there have been cracks in the dressing room. It’s obvious for now, as the players are not even hesitant to fake the harmony in the team.
Hardik Pandya’s arrival as captain by replacing Rohit Sharma has been dealt very poorly. This led the fans to boo Pandya, and Rohit didn’t do anything to discourage the fans. Even Virat Kohli was once seen telling the fans to stop harassing the player during the MI vs RCB match.

“I don’t know. I think it’s wishful thinking for Mumbai this entire IPL. I think there’s a lot more going on than what we are seeing on the outside, and you can’t have that many good players and perform this inconsistently. I think there are different groups inside that changing room, and something is not working, they are not gelling together, they are not playing as a team.”
Clarke said.
