In Turkish, the word ‘Akaay’ means ‘near a full moon or the illuminating light of a full moon’. Akaay is derived from the Hindi word ‘kaya’, which means ‘body’. The pair were showered with love and wishes soon after they announced the arrival of Akaay.
Virat Kohli’s IPL franchise, RCB, tweeted,
“And then there are four. Many congratulations to Anushka and Virat, and a big welcome to the youngest member of the RCB family, Akaay. This is such a happy news and India will sleep well tonight.”
Meanwhile, even though the baby was born last week, Kohli is still unlikely to feature in the fifth Test against England, starting March 7 in Dharamsala.
