Mbappe Not At the Level of Messi and Ronaldo: Kylian Mbappe reached his dream destination, Real Madrid, after a stellar run at PSG. The transfer was officially confirmed by the player and the Spanish club yesterday. He is considered the next big thing after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi by the football world. But there is someone who thinks otherwise.
Mbappe Not At the Level of Messi and Ronaldo, Says Harry Redknapp
Former English player and coach Harry Redknapp said that Mbappe is not on the level of Ronaldo and Messi. He even went on to say that the new Real Madrid star is ‘miles away’ from the two GOATS.
“Mbappe is hot and cold. He can be the best player on the pitch in one game then you might not see anything of him in the next.
“He is a great player but I still wouldn’t put him in the same bracket as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He is miles away from being what those two have been for the last 15 years.
Mbapee is now ready to boot up for France in the upcoming EURO championship. He is one of the favorites to become the best player in the tournament. But Redknapp is leaning towards his countrymen to become the best of EURO 2024.
“I can see why he’s favorite for the Player of the Tournament award, but I’d rather be backing one of the England players like Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, and Phil Foden.”
Mbappe scored 44 goals in 48 games for PSG in all competitions last season.
