In all the matches they played against Galatasaray and Copenhagen, they were winning at some point and should’ve come away with three points. But as it stands, United’s only win in the group was a cagey 1-0 affair against Copenhagen and their most recent match was a 3-3 draw against Galatasaray.
As it stands, Manchester United’s fate is not in their own hands. For them to qualify for the Champions League round of 16, they will need to do what no one has been able to accomplish in the competition this season, defeat Bayern Munich. But that will not be enough, as United would also need the Copenhagen vs Galatasaray match to draw.

This is an important distinction, as both Copenhagen and Galatasaray are one point ahead of Man United in the group. As per the Manchester United UCL Knockout Stage Chances, so if either of them wins their match, they will finish one point ahead of United, even if the English club defeats Bayern.
In case United wins and the other match is not a draw, the winner of that match will end second in the group and make it to the round of 16 and Man U will finish third and fall into the Europa League.
