Krunal Pandya is an Indian cricketer who plays domestic cricket for Baroda and in the Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He is an all-rounder who bats left-handed and bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He is the elder brother of Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya.
Krunal made his Twenty20 International debut for India against the West Indies on 4 November 2018. In that match, he took one wicket and scored an unbeaten 21 runs off 9 balls. He was later selected for the T20I series against Australia, where he played all three matches and won the Player of the Match award in the third T20I for figures of 4/36.
In March 2021, he was named in India’s One Day International squad for the series against England. He made his ODI debut on 23 March 2021, scoring 58 not out. This innings included the fastest half-century by a player on ODI debut, reaching fifty from 26 balls. He has also previously captained the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL.

Krunal Pandya was the leading run-scorer and leading wicket-taker for Baroda in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He scored 366 runs in eight matches at an average of 45.75 and also took 11 wickets in the same tournament.
He scored a century and a double century (160 and 104) in a single Ranji Trophy match against Railways in the 2018–19 season and also took six wickets in that game.
He was part of India A’s title-winning campaign in the 2017 tri-series against South Africa A and Afghanistan A.

Krunal Pandya’s Personal Life
Krunal Pandya and his younger brother, Hardik Pandya, were born in Surat, Gujarat. From an early age, cricket was the main focus of his modest upbringing. Their father, Himanshu Pandya, ran a small car finance business in Surat, which he later shut down so the family could move to Baroda and give both sons better cricket training opportunities.
The Pandya family faced financial difficulties during Krunal’s childhood. They lived in a rented apartment and travelled to practice sessions in a second-hand car. Their father enrolled both brothers at Kiran More’s cricket academy in Baroda.
