Kohli Talks About One of the Emotional Moments: Virat Kohli is one of the, if not the greatest, cricketers of all time. The player has written a lot of records under his name; one of them is the second-leading century scorer in the game’s history.
The Delhi-based player has scored 80 tons in international cricket, second to one and only Sachin Tendulkar. While the master Blaster has 100 centuries, Kohli has bagged 80. While 50 of these centuries came from One Day Internationals, 29 of them are in the red ball cricket. He also has one century in T20I.
To score these many tons, one has to be very consistent. And Virat Kohli is known for this. The top scorer of the 2023 ODI World Cup recently opened up about an emotional moment that he had in his cricket career.
It was in 2022, and by then, Virat Kohli had passed almost 2 years without a ton. The match was against Afghanistan in the 2022 Asia Cup, and the people in the Dubai International Stadium got to see the dance of the GOAT at its absolute beauty. The beautiful 122-run century came from just 61 balls, and India won the match by a massive 101 runs.
