Klopp Slams Ten Hag and Chelsea Owners: Coach Klopp cannot just rest. After his illustrious but busy Liverpool venture, the 56-year-old is now busy giving interviews to the media. In the latest one, he sent a double shot, one to Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag and the other to Chelsea owners.
The coach who led Liverpool to so many silverware, including the 2018–19 UEFA Champions League and the 2019–20 Premier League titles, decided to take a break from his managerial career by the end of this season. Liverpool has appointed Arne Slot as their new boss, while Klopp’s next destination is still unclear.

About Ten Hag
When Ten Hag arrived at Manchester United, Klopp gave him ten out of ten. Klopp was happy to welcome another tactician to compete with other than his league rival Pep Guardiola of Manchester City. But two years passed, and it seems like the German has changed his views on the Dutchman along with most of the footballing world.
Klopp revealed that he is not a big fan of how Ten Hag dealt with the Jaden Sancho situation.
“If the whole world loses trust and faith in the player, the manager has to be the one behind the player,” says Klopp. “I cannot just buy into that ‘he’s useless’ like other clubs did, by the way—buying a player for £80 million and then sending him out on loan!” Klopp continued.
“Are they the best in the world? I don’t know, I can’t say. But they worked really hard. I felt supported.”
Klopp on Liverpool owners
Jaden Sancho is another black mark in Ten Hag’s career after the controversial departure of football GOAT Cristiano Ronaldo. Sancho had to go through Ten Hag’s unusual ways of punishment, including getting barred from training with the first team. The player eventually had to go to his previous nest, Borussia Dortmund, where everyone welcomed him with open arms. Like Ronaldo, Sancho proved Ten Hag wrong by taking the German club to the UCL final, where they will fight the mighty Real Madrid on June 2 at the magisterial Wembley Stadium.
About the Blues
Klopp’s other dig was towards Chelsea. The former Liverpool manager slammed the Chelsea owners for not backing their managers enough to bring consistent results for the club. This criticism comes after the Blues decided to sack Mauricio Pchetino following a dreadful season.
“We should be really happy we have them (Fenway Sports Group) and not guys who bought London clubs. I wouldn’t have survived a year at Liverpool (with them). Finally, they (Chelsea) play football which everyone thinks ‘Oh, they might be back’ and then they sack the manager anyway. The owners (at Liverpool) feel responsible for the club. Are they the best in the world? I don’t know, I can’t say. But they worked really hard. I felt supported,” Klopp added.
