Cricket pundit Aakash Chopra called KL ‘the stepney of the Indian team’ referring to Rahul’s flexibility to bat anywhere in the order.
“KL Rahul is the stepney of the Indian team. You can fit him wherever you want. He can play as an opener and middle-order batter and can also keep wickets. Don’t be surprised if he is sent out to bat at No.3 in the near future,” Aakash Chopra said on JioCinema.
