Cariappa is a Karnataka-born spinner who currently represents Mizoram in the domestic circuit. He made his IPL debut in 2015 playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders. He has since played for Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, who released him before the auction this year.

The 29-year-old player currently resides in Bengaluru, has informed police that he used to date this woman, but left her because of her drug and alcohol abuse. In his own words, he attempted to convince her to quit drinking but she refused, resulting in their separation. He also accused the woman of threatening to attempt suicide.
As per the KC Cariappa Threatened By Ex-Girlfriend, In a recent video released by Cariappa on social media, he discussed the situation and how it is affecting him, he said –
“There has been an allegation against me. Two days ago, I had filed an FIR. She is threatening me and torturing me. She is disturbing my cricket career. She came home, ordered a knife and said I will cut myself. So this has been a difficulty. So for me and my family’s safety, I have filed an FIR.”

The woman had herself filed a complaint against Cariappa in 2022, accusing him of getting her pregnant and giving her abortion tablets. As per the KC Cariappa Threatened By Ex-Girlfriend, She told the Times of India that the cricketer had promised to marry her but then broke up with her.
Opening up about KC Cariappa’s police report, a senior police officer had this to say –
“Based on the complaint filed by Cariappa, we are investigating the matter.”
