Mohammed Shami also set a record for clinching seven wickets to become the first ever to do it in a World Cup knockout match. With the addition of Shreyas Iyer’s century, the Blues had demolished the Kivies by 70 runs.
Kamran Akmal Says Babar and Gill Will Beat Kohli
Kamar Akmal believes that two batters in world cricket could beat Virat Kohli’s record of most ODI centuries. And he picks his countryman, Babar Azam, and India’s Subman Gill.
“We have Babar Azam, who can go ahead of Virat. India have Shubman Gill.”
Though Kamran thinks the record could be broken, he also believes that only top-order batters could do it. He finds it impossible for middle-order batters to touch Kohli.
“Only a top-order can touch Kohli’s numbers. A middle order has no chance,” he said.
