Jos Buttler Reacts to His Century vs KKR: Apart from producing one of the best-ever IPL centuries, Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler also gave two incredible images and one epic tweet for the fans to savor.
Buttler’s heroics of 107* (60) helped RR overcome Sunil Narine’s fantastic all-round performance—Narine scored 109 before picking up 2 wickets—on the last ball of the KKR vs RR match on Tuesday evening at the Eden Gardens.
The two teams played out one of the most thrilling IPL matches ever, with Buttler standing tall after the last ball of the game as Rajasthan made the joint-highest successful chase in IPL history.
After hitting the winning runs, he jumped with a spring in his legs even though he was struggling with a hamstring injury and punched in the air in delight, with non-striker Avesh Khan too having his hands raised up. Buttler then nonchalantly lobbed his bat and helmet away to make for a swagger-filled photo that has wowed everyone.

Later in the night, Jos Buttler took to his social media to give his fans and followers a strong message about not giving up and continuing to dream.
Buttler tweeted, “Dare to Dream! #HallaBol”
Narine had one of the best individual matches a player has ever had in the IPL. He racked up his maiden T20 century with the help of 13 fours and six sixes, taking KKR to 223. He then took the wickets of Dhruv Jurel and Rovman Powell.
Buttler, who was struggling with a hamstring injury and had come in to bat as an Impact Sub, was ordinary for more than half of his innings. At the end of the 14th over, he was 42 (33) and RR needed 96 runs in six overs.
Then it’s like a switch was flicked. He tore into the KKR bowlers in five of the remaining six overs; Powell blasted Narine in the other over where Buttler didn’t get the strike. Buttler scored his last 65 runs in only 27 balls and hit the winning shot on the last ball of the last over.
In fact, with Trent Boult and Avesh at the other end, Buttler faced the last 18 balls of Rajasthan’s innings. Overall, the Englishman clobbered 9 fours and 6 sixes in his special knock.
Buttler said the likes of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni, arguably the two greatest run-chasers in the history of white-ball cricket, were his inspiration for this kind of knock.
He said,
“At some point, you will get your rhythm back. There have been plenty of times throughout the IPL, you have seen crazy things happen. Guys like [MS] Dhoni and [Virat] Kohli, the way they stay till the end and keep believing. You have seen it so many times in the IPL, and I was trying to do the same.”
