Due to this, the much-anticipated title bout between him and the heavyweight great Stipe Miocic is canceled and hopefully will be rescheduled for 2024. The injury is severe and Jones will be out of the competition for at least eight months.

The co-main event has shifted into the main event and Jiri Prochazka will fight Alex Pereira for the vacant light-heavyweight title. Sergei Pavlovich vs Tom Aspinall is planned for the Interim Heavyweight Championship.

Stipe in his OnlyFans account, opened up about how he feels about the fight cancellation.
“How did I feel when I woke up today? Like I got kicked in the nuts. In the morning, I woke up to my phone vibrating. It was dark, I had my son on top of me, trying to move and get my phone. I finally got my phone and had a text message from my manager saying my fight was off.”
