Jaden Sancho to Barcelona? Spanish Giants FC Barcelona have put their eyes on Manchester United player Jaden Sancho.
Jaden Sancho to Barcelona: Reports
According to reports, the Catalans are on the hunt for Juventus midfielder Federico Chiesa. But they are unsure if the deal will be successful. If the deal breaks down, their next priority will be Sancho.
Jaden Sancho played for Borussia Dortmund last season on loan, and the player was an important part of the team that reached the UEFA Champions League final. The winger, though, failed to make it into England’s squad for the 2024 Euros.
After the loan deal, Sancho has now returned to Manchester United, but the club is looking forward to offloading him due to his feud with Eric Ten Hag.
Sancho joined Manchester United in the same year that Cristiano Ronaldo signed for his second term with the Red Devils. It had been a fine sail for the forward until Eric Ten Hag took charge. Ten Hag, who also had problems with some of the other players, like Cristiano Ronaldo, wanted to show Sancho who is the boss.
When the situation reached a level where Ten Hag punished him by asking him not to practice with the main team, United had to send Sancho on loan. As Ten Hag is still being persistent with his ‘ego’, Sancho has understood that he doesn’t have a place in the Dutchman’s United Squad.
Will the Englishman find a better lace for him this summer? Barcelona might come for him, but things aren’t so smooth there as well. Barca is already in a financial crisis, and because of this, they had to force out Ilkay Gundogan two days ago. Gundogan returned to his happy place, Manchester City, but the question that still exists is how Barcelona will afford another player with a huge wage like Sancho if they already had to miss out on a champion in Gundogan due to financial instability.
The other option Barcelona have, and the most possible one that they are going to try, is signing Sancho for a loan. But Manchester United and Ten Hag would not want that. They want Sancho out for good.
