Iyer and Ishan Gain BCCI Central Contract: PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer and SRH batter Ishan Kishan are back in the BCCI central contract after being stripped of it last year. While Kishan has been awarded a grade C contract, Iyer got a grade B one.

Both Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan got re-inducted into the BCCI contract after outstanding performances in the domestic tournaments.
India’s Test wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant surprisingly got promoted from Grade B to Grade A. This makes the only change in Grade A.
In Grade B, the induction of Shreyas Iyer is the sole change.
The most amount of new entries is in Grade C, in the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Sarfaraz Khan, Akash Deep, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Dhruv Jurel, Varun Chakravarthy, and Harshit Rana. There are few players who were in Grade C last year and have been dropped this year. They are KS Bharat and Avesh Khan. Shardul Thakur and Jitesh Sharma.

- Grade B: Shreyas Iyer, Kuldeep Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Suryakumar Yadav, and Axar Patel.
- Grade C: Rinku Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, Tilak Varma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, Prasidh Krishna, Rajat Patidar, Dhruv Jurel, Ishan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma, Akash Deep, Sarfaraz Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Varun Chakravarthy, Harshit Rana
Rishabh Pant has been promoted from Grade B to Grade A, which also has Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, and Mohammed Shami.
Iyer, meanwhile, is part of Grade B along with Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav, while Kishan has been added to Grade C.
The new entrants in the contracts’ list—all currently in Grade C – are Nitish Kumar Reddy, Dhruv Jurel, Abhishek Sharma, Sarfaraz Khan, Akash Deep, Varun Chakravarthy, and Harshit Rana.
Shardul Thakur, KS Bharat, Avesh Khan, and Jitesh Sharma, who were all in the Grade C list—the lowest of the retainers—last year, have been dropped.
