Is Virat Kohli The Best Batsman In The World Cup?: It is India vs Australia once again in the final of the Cricket World Cup. The last time this fixture was played was in the 2003 World Cup. While in that match, Australia went into the match as favorites and won it by 125 runs, the tables seemed to have turned 20 years on, as It is India who are the favorites to win it all this time round.
On what is supposed to be a batting-friendly pitch of the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, posing high totals while batting first, or chasing down a massive total is what will win a team the World Cup. Both teams have arguably the best batting orders in the tournament.
With that being said, here are three batsmen to look out for in the Cricket World Cup 2023 final –

Is Virat Kohli The Best Batsman In The World Cup? Top 3 Batters to Watch in World Cup Final
1) Virat Kohli
‘The King’ is adamant about breaking every record he can at this World Cup. In the semi-final against The Kiwwis, Kohli made his 50th ODI century, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar’s 49 in the format. He has also surpassed Sachin for most runs in a single World Cup edition.
Having scored the most 50+ scores in a World Cup with 8, Virat Kohli is in the form of his life. The former Indian captain is definitely the headliner of a star-studded Indian batting order. His incredible anchor innings allow batters around him to attack with relief.
With a century in the semi-final, Kohli also broke the jinx of his poor performances in World Cup knockout games and will go into the match with Australia in fine form.

2) David Warner
Playing his last match in an ICC tournament, David Warner will be looking to add another trophy to his cabinet. One of the cleanest strikers of his generation, the Sydney native will be retiring from international cricket in January of next year.
While his place in the team was questioned before the World Cup because of his prolonged poor form, Warner has quietly had the best World Cup for any Australian in 2023. The moustached legend has scored 528 runs in 10 matches with an average of 52 and can look to climb as high as second in the highest run-getter in the 2023 World Cup list.
Will we see yet another dominating knock from the Aussie batting icon in his last dance? We can only wait and watch.

3) Shubman Gill
Having missed a couple of games at the start of the World Cup, Shubman Gill roared back into the side with fine form. The golden boy of Indian batting has formed crucial opening partnerships with captain Rohit Sharma.
In the 8 matches he has played, Gill has scored 346 runs with an average of over 70. While he is the only Indian top-5 batter to have not scored a century in this World Cup, he has come close on several occasions. More importantly, he has provided India with excellent starts.
Ahmedabad also seems to be Shuman Gll’s favorite ground. He has scored a T20I century, two IPL tons, and a Test Match 100 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. He has an average of 70+ at this ground across all formats.
