Irfan Pathan couldn’t believe how Ricky Ponting is untouched despite the below-par performance of the team in the tournament. He claimed that if it was an Indian coach, ‘his coaching career would have ended’
Pathan also said that DC were good when Shreyas Iyer was the captain.
“I am surprised that Ricky Ponting hasn’t been touched for the failures. If an indian was Delhi’s coach in place of Ponting, his coaching career would have ended by now. Delhi were good when Shreyas Iyer was their captain but in the last few season, the results have gone down. This year Delhi are looking good but it is because of Rishabh Pant,” said Irfan Pathan.
