The Oval Invincibles will take on the Southern Brave in the Final of The Hundred 2024 season
Oval Invincibles Vs Southern Brave The Hundred Final Preview
We stand at the precipice of the final of the fourth-ever season of The Hundred (Men’s) as the two best teams in the competition will face one another.
The Oval Invincibles finished on top of the league table. They kicked off their season by thrashing the Birmingham Phoenix before notching up a win over the Welsh Fire. Their first loss of the season came in the third game against the Northern Superchargers. From this point, the Invincibles won four games in a row – against the London Spirit, the Manchester Originals, the Southern Brave, and the Spirit once more, before losing their last game to the Trent Rockets. Having finished first with six wins, two losses, and 12 points in eight games, they automatically qualified for the final.
The Southern Brave too kicked off their season with a win, with it coming against the Spirit. Then came their first loss of the season against the Superchargers. The Brave won their next three games, against the Originals, the Phoenix, and the Fire, before losing their opponents in the final, the Invincibles. In their last two league games, they won against the Rockets before their match against the Welsh Fire was washed. With five wins, two losses, a no-contest, and 11 points in eight games meant that the Brave finished third in the table. In the Eliminator, they played a tie against the Birmingham Phoenix before winning in the Super Five.

OVL Vs SOU The Hundred Final Pitch Report
The pitches at the mecca of cricket are balanced on most occasions nowadays. While there is some movement for pacers off the pitch and in the air early in the inning, the batters will look to score big as the inning proceeds.
The pitch does not change much throughout the match, so the decision after the toss will depend on a team’s abilities.

Invincibles Vs Brave Prediction
This is it, the final of this month-long tournament. Having started with eight teams, we are now down to one. And it is apt that these are the two teams who have made it to the final. The Oval Invincibles and the Southern Brave have not only been the two most consistently good teams this season, but they also have massive stores of match-winning players.
Having been incredibly well-oiled batting and bowling units, both teams not only deservedly reached the playoffs, but the final as well. But with that being said, both are coming off of worrying performances. On one hand, the Ovals lost their most recent match to the Trent Rockets, topping the table and reaching the final regardless. On the other, things were looking dicey for the Brave in their last league game against the Welsh Fire before the match was washed off, and they only won the Eliminator against the Birmingham Phoenix in the Super Five after the game was tied.
With all being said, one of these teams finished above the other (and everyone else) in the league, the team that won six out of their first seven games will play in their home town (but not home stadium), and will go into it as slight favourites, that being the Oval Invincibles.
