Indian Super League Top Goal Scorers 2023-24: The Indian Super League (ISL) has been a major reason behind the rise of Indian football since its inception in 2014. Quietly one of the most popular and attended leagues in the world, the competition has seen players from all over the world play in it.
Now grown to 12 teams in the league, each team plays 22 matches before the playoffs in the ISL. Having started a few months later than the European calendar (on September 21), ISL has seen each team play only 4-5 matches so far.
This makes making a list of top goal scorers in the league a bit difficult, as most goal scorers only have a few goals to their name. Despite that, we will be listing the top five goalscorers in the ISL 2023-24 season so far –

Indian Super League Top Goal Scorers 2023-24
1) Jorge Pereyra Diaz – 4 Goals
The Argentine striker is in his third full season with Mumbai City FC this season and was a major reason behind Mumbai picking up the ISL trophy last season. The 33-year-old is already off to a flying start this season, having already scored 4 goals in 4 matches so far.
Diaz is already on his way to improve upon his tally of 11 goals from 20 matches last season, when he was only 1 goal behind the Golden Boot winner Diego Mauricio
2) Parthib Gogoi – 3 Goals
The first India on the list, Parthib Gogoi is making waves in the ISL this year at the age of 20. The Assamese striker is currently the forward man for NorthEast United and has scored 3 goals in 5 matches so far this season.

This tally is already equal to his 3 goals from 18 matches last season when Parthib was plying his trade in the ISL for the first time.
3) Adrian Luna – 3 Goals
In his third year with Kerela Blasters in the Indian Super League, the Uruguayan striker is currently the captain of the side. As the captain, he is leading from the front, scoring 3 and assisting 1 goal in 5 matches he has played so far.
His captaincy and leadership in the attack have Kerela second in the ISL table with 10 points in 5 matches.

4) Connor Shields
Having played for several clubs in the English and Scottish football pyramids, Connor Shields has been a revelation for Chennaiyin FC in his first season in the ISL. The Scot has scored 3 goals in 5 matches for the South Indian side this season.
