Indian Squad Departs For Dubai For CT 2025: The first batch of the Indian Cricket Team players, including captain Rohit Sharma, has departed from India and are on their way to Dubai as we speak to play the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
CT 2025 is the first ICC tournament that will be played in Pakistan since the 1996 Cricket World Cup. However, the Men in Blue will not be travelling to our neighbours in the north to play that competition and instead will be playing all their games in the Dubai International Stadium in the UAE.

The tournament will start on February 19 with Pakistan taking on New Zealand. India’s first match is on February 20 against Bangladesh. On the other hand, the final of this competition will be played on March 9, while the stadium for that match will be decided to see which teams qualify for it.
The first batch that was leaving for Dubai from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport included some of the biggest names that are in the squad. Captain Rohit Sharma also included over half the squad.

The Indian team will be heading into this tournament as one of, if not the, favourites to win it all. This team will be in Group A alongside Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. As stated above, we will face Bangladesh on February 20. Then, the big India vs Pakistan clash will be on February 23. Finally, India will face New Zealand on March 2.
The top two finishing teams from the two groups will make it to the semis. In the last two tournaments, India won the 2013 edition and lost to Pakistan in the final in 2017. This time, Rohit Sharma’s men will be looking to reverse what happened in 2017.
