It was certainly a mixed day in badminton. On one hand, the electrifying duo of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy thrashed their Indonesian opponents to finish on top of their group in the men’s doubles event and qualify for the quarterfinals. On the other hand, the women’s doubles duo of Ashwini Ponnapa and Tanisha Crasto lost to the Australian pair and crashed out of the competition.
