India Tour Of Australia 2025: Australia are set for a bumper summer this year as they will be hosting South Africa and India in white-ball matches before hosting England for a much-awaited five-match Test series, The Ashes.
Cricket Australia announced their schedule for the men’s team for the summer on Sunday, and the inclusion of white-ball games against India was not foreseen by many.
India toured Australia a few months ago for a five-match Test series, which the hosts won by 3-1 margin and reclaimed the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after 10 years.
The Australia men’s team will kick off their home summer this year three T20Is and three ODIs against South Africa from August 10 to August 24.
3 ODIs, 5 T20Is included in India Tour Of Australia 2025
India will tour Australia this year for eight white-ball matches, comprising three ODIs and five T20Is. The tour will get underway in Perth on October 19 with the ODI series, and will complete on November 8 with the fifth T20I in Gabba.
India and Australia will play ODIs in Perth, Adelaide, and Sydney, while the T20I series will be played out in Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Queensland, and Brisbane.
The Ashes series will kick off on November 21 in Perth.
After the BGT in Australia, India and Australia recently met in the semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai, where Virat Kohli led a successful run-chase.
India are the reining T20 World Cup champions, having won the title last year in Barbados, and since then have won all their T20I series so far.
