The squad includes 3 uncapped players in the likes of all-rounder Ramandeep Singh, bowlers Yash Dayal, and Vijaykumar Vyshak. The Suryakumar Yadav-led 15-man squad will have in-form Sanju Samson behind the wickets. Allrounder Axar Patel and fast bowlers Avesh Khan and Yash Dayal have also been included.
Some players who had played against Bangladesh are absent from the squad due to various reasons. While Shivam Dube, Riyan Parag, and Mayank Yadav were not included due to unavailability, Washington Sundar, Harshit Rana, and Nitish Reddy were not considered as they will be parallelly playing in Australia in the Border-Gavaskar trophy.
