Cricket South Africa appointed their former cricketer Imran Khan as their batting lead. Imran, who started the job already in the Windies series as a temporary replacement for the Ashwell prince, has cemented his place permanently.
Imran, who has been a long-time coach of the Dolphins in SA domestic cricket, has led the team to many glories. After his permanent position as a Proteas batting lead, Imran thanked the Dolphins.
“I want to thank the KZN Cricket Union for all their support,” Imraan said in a statement. “It’s been an incredible journey, and I’ve loved starting my coaching career at the union that has been my home for many seasons. This is an exciting step in my path as a coach, but Kingsmead will always be home, and I will miss everyone here.”
