ILT20 Season 2 starts on January 18 2024: With six teams to test their tusks, ILT20’s second edition is set to take place between January 19 and February 18 next year. A total of 34 games will be played within 30 days between the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Dubai Capitals, Desert Vipers, MI Emirates, Sharjah Warriors, and defending champions Gulf Giants.
Though it’s just the second season, so many big names have already signed with the league. David Warner, Ambati Rayudu, Shadab Khan, and Mark Wood are some of them. While the Vipers signed Pakistani players Shaheen Shah Afridi and Azam Khan, the Capitals managed to sign Warner and Wood. While MI Emirates signed Rayudu, who has recently retired from international service, Lewis Gregory, Martin Guptill, and Sri Lankan sensation Maheesh Theekshana will join the Warriors.
ILT20 Season 2 starts on January 18 2024: Clashes with Other Tournaments
ILT20 Season 2 starts on January 18 2024: The ILT20 will most likely clash their dates with the SA20 league in South Africa and the India vs England Series. It had occurred concurrently with the South African League last year as well. Moreover, they might lose the services of Wood and Joe Root temporarily, as both would have to join their national teams for the series against India.

The selection of the UAE players has yet to occur, and hopefully, the update will come soon.
In the first season, Gulf Giants owned by the Adani Group and led by James Vince have emerged as the winners. The Giants had beaten Desert Vipers by seven wickets in the final.
Earlier, the ILT20 second season was expected to kick off on January 13, 2024. But now it has changed to January 19, which is not a huge change.
