Both of these teams had a very different tournament back in the first-ever edition of ILT20 in 2023. While the Sharjah Warriors had a below-average tournament by finishing 5th out of 6 teams in the league phase and missed the playoffs, the Gulf Giants not only topped the league stage but also went on to win the tournament, defeating the Desert Vipers in the final.
The defending champions will be looking to continue their winning ways from last season and will be going for a two-peat, SW will be looking for the 2024 edition to go a lot better than their last campaign.

The pitches of the Sharjah Cricket Stadium are the definition of T20 ground. The Stadium has just over 60m boundary down the ground and around 65m square boundary which allows for regular boundary hitting.
