Ian Bishop recently tweeted that Mayank Yadav should be added to this list, writing –
“Nothing else needs to be seen to add a sixth name to the fast bowling contracts list.”
Ian Bishop had previously expressed admiration for BCCI’s move to provide these contracts to pacers. He previously had this to say when Umran Malik was added to the list –
“BCCI has made a very innovative decision by awarding contracts to pacers. That really appeals to me, especially since Umran Malik’s name is on that list. Any team hoping to compete on a global scale needs to acquire and develop quality fast-bowlers.”
