In a heartfelt video, Dhoni is seen leaving the temple when a young fan reaches out and touches his arm to seek his attention. In response, Dhoni lifts his hand with a smile, delighting the child.
The video quickly went viral on social media.
Despite retiring from international cricket on August 15, 2020, Dhoni still has it in him and will lead CSK in the IPL in 2024. The former Indian captain played 350 ODIs, 98 T20Is, and 90 Tests, amassing over 17,000 runs and securing 16 centuries.
Dhoni, one of the best captains in the history of the game, led the team to victory in the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy. In the previous year, he guided the Chennai Super Kings to their record fifth IPL trophy, tying with the Mumbai Indians for the most titles in the 20-over tournament. Now that he has recovered from the injuries, Dhini is expected to start practicing for the IPL soon.
