GT Squad IPL 2025: After two wildly successful seasons in the league, the Gujarat TItans fell off a cliff in 2024, finishing eighth. That partially formed their strategy to retain young and promising players. But they also managed to keep a hold of their two heavyweights and went into the auction with the strategy to build a new team around them.
Having retained five players, the GT IPL auction 2025 strategy was to sign big stars to complement the two already in the team. The five retentions by the Super Kings were – Rashid Khan, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia, and Shahrukh Khan. These players formed the base for the GT squad 2025.
