Fans Troll Rohit For Not Retiring Till 2027: Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma recently revealed that he wants to play and win the 2027 ODI World Cup. Fans have reacted to this information in a number of ways.
We all know what happened in 2023. India under Sharma was the best team in the tournament. Not only were they undefeated when they made it to the final but dominated all the teams in the tournament. But the final was not meant to be for the home team, as the Men in Blue suffered a disappointing loss to Australia.
It seemed like the last chance to win an ODI World Cup for a few players, none more than the captain, who will be 40 by the time the next ODI World Cup comes around.

“I haven’t really thought about retirement. But, I don’t know where life takes you. I am still playing well at this point in time – so I am thinking I am going to continue for a few more years and then, I don’t know. I really want to win the World Cup and there is a WTC final in 2025, hopefully, India makes it,” said Sharma.
Unsurprisingly, fans have reacted in various manners to this news on social media. Of course, there are Rohit Sharma fans who not only want him to play longer but also win a World Cup with India –
