Fans Blame Ravindra Jadeja For Sarfaraz Run Out: After years of being outstanding on the domestic level, Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan finally got his India cap today. While he did impress with the bat, his dismissal sparked a row against his partner Ravindra Jadeja.
It was Day 1 of India’s 3rd Test of the five-match series against England. The hosts won the toss and chose to bat in the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, Gujarat.
The 26-year-old walked onto the pitch when India were in a comfortable yet tricky situation. After a 204-run partnership for the 4th wicket, captain Rohit Sharma lost his wicket on 131, with India being on 237/4.
When Sarfaraz came in, Jadeja was 84 and seemed to have gone into a shell. The debutant was also challenged by an in-form Mark Wood, whose pacey deliveries asked difficult questions to Khan.

With Sarfaraz on 62, Ravindra Jadeja finally reached the 99-run mark. He played the ball to mid-off and called for a run, but then refused when Mark Wood picked the ball up. Khan, who was way out of the crease by this point, had no chance of making it back when Wood knocked the stumps over with a direct throw.
On the next ball, Ravi Jadeja reached his 100 and did his signature sword celebration, despite looking dejected.
