Famous Male Golf Players From India
1. Anirban Lahiri
Anirban Lahiri is a well-known name in international golf and has been the most prominent representative of India in the sport for the past 20 years. Since turning pro in 2007, he has 18 career tournament titles. Two of these came on the European Tour, while seven came on the Asian Tour.
Lahiri has participated in 18 major tournaments, most for any Indian. His T5 fish at the 2015 PGA Championship is also the highest for any Indian. He also has a career-high ranking of 33.
Having been India’s flagbearer on the PGA Tour for several years, Anirban is only the second Indian to be a part of the Saudi-owned LIV Golf. He recently came second at LIV Golf Bedminster.

2. Jeev Milkha Singh
Son of the legendary Sprinter Milkha Singh, Jeev Milkha carved out his own legacy in a sport mostly uncharted by Indian athletes by becoming the most recognizable Indian golfer ever.
Singh turned pro in 1993 and won a whopping 20 tournaments in his illustrious career. These include six wins on the Asian Tour and four on the European Tour. Jeev’s other achievements and accolades include participating in 14 major tournaments and being the recipient of a Padma Shri.

3. Arjun Atwal
Arjun Atwal was a trendsetter in Indian golf. Having turned pro in 1995, Arjun became the first Indian golfer to participate in the prestigious PGA Tour
Arjun has eight wins in the Asian Tour and three on the European Tour, his career tally being a solid 13. Atwal also won the 2003 Asian Tour Order of Merit. He is still a part of the PGA Tour at the age of 50, where he was the first Indian to win a tournament.

4. Gaganjeet Bhullar
Gaganjeet Bhullar is one of the most prolific Indian golfer on the international level with a whopping 22 tournament wins. He is in the conversation about being the greatest Indian golfer of the 21st century.
Since turning pro in 2006, Bhullar has 10 wins on the Asian Tour, a record for an Indian golfer. He also has a win on the European Tour. In the past decade, Gaganjeet has emerged as a constant winner for Indian golf.

5. Jyoti Randhawa
Jyoti Randhawa is yet another Indian golf icon from the 1990s. Having turned pro in 1994, Jyoti has won 23 tournaments in his career.
An eight-time winner on the Asian Tour and the tour’s Player of the Year in 2002, Randhawa is also a former winner of the Hero Honda Open.
