Erling Haaland Scored 5 Goals Vs Luton Town: Star-striker Erling Haaland scored five goals in Manchester City’s most recent match against Luton Town as the sky-blues blew past fellow Premier League side Luton Town in Round 5 of the FA Cup.
Man City ran riot by netting six goals against Luton in the FA Cup, five of which were scored by the Norwegian striker. The match, which was played at Kenilworth Road on February 27, saw the final scoreline being 6-2 in favour of the visitors.

Haaland linked up with midfield maestro Kevin de Bruyne for the first goal of the match in just the 3rd minute. Kevin then cut the ball back to Erling who rocketed it into the top-left corner, 1-0.
The second goal was scored again by the 23-year-old and assisted by de Bruyne in the 18th minute. This time, a magnificent through ball by the Belgian finds Haaland who blasts the ball past the goalkeeper, 2-0.

Erling Haaland completes his hat-trick in the first half. His third goal, scored in the 40th minute, was again scored by de Bruyne. With the ball in his own half, the Belgian slides the ball past a sleeping Luton defence. Holland then draws out the keeper and chips the ball over him, 3-0.
Before the half ended, Luton drew back some blood with a goal of their win. A strike from 25 yards out by Jordan Clark sees the ball go into the top-right corner, 3-1.
Jordan Clarke struck again in the 52nd minute with a beautiful volley. This goal brought Luton Town back in the game, with several fans looking forward to an unlikely comeback.
But those hopes were crushed mere minutes later in the 55th minute, as Erling Haaland, agains assisted by Kevin de Bruyne, scored his fourth goal. De Bruyne bursts behind the Luton defence and just slid the ball into Haaland’s path, who tapped the ball in for his fourth, 4-2.
Haaland then completed a five-star performance as he scored his fifth goal in the 58th minute. This time, it’s Bernardo Silva who assists the ball before the Norwegian drills it into at the near post, 5-2.
The last goal of the match was scored by Mateo Kovacic, who powers the ball just below the top-left corner in the 72nd minute, 6-2.
Not only did Erling Haaland score five goals in this match, but Kevin de Bruyne also assisted four and had a near-perfect match.
With this win, Manchester City have made their way into the quarter-final of the 2023-24 FA Cup. After winning the tournament last season as part of their treble win, the Pep Guardiola-managed side will be looking to two-peat in the competition.
