The match saw the underdogs hold the defending treble winners to no goals in the first half. In the 71st minute, Haaland slid the ball past keeper Mark Flekken with a composed finish. He was the only goalscorer in the match as the contest ended 1-0.
With this goal, Erling Haaland has now scored a goal against all 21 Premier League teams he has faced against. He became only the second player to ever do it, the first being former Tottenham Hotspur and now Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, who has scored a goal against all 32 Premier League teams he has faced.
While Kane took years and years to do so, Haaland has achieved this feat in only his second season, cementing him as not only one of the best strikers in the league but one of the best in the whole world.
This goal was Erling Haaland’s 17th in the Premier League this season and 22nd across all competitions. He is currently on top of the league’s goalscorer charts. His team, on the other hand, is currently second in the league and is just one point behind league leaders Liverpool. They are looking to win their third Premier League title in a row.
