Eoin Morgan Names Rahul Dravid for England Coach: Former England cricketer Eoin Morgan suggests some big names to take over the England cricket team’s white-ball coach. Matthew Mott, who recently signed out of the role after 2 years of stint, leaves ECB guessing.

According to Morgan, the ECB should approach Rahul Dravid, Ricky Ponting, Stephen Fleming, or Brendon McCullum. Morgan was speaking to Sky Sports.
“I believe you would go to Rahul Dravid, Ricky Ponting, Stephen Fleming, and Brendon McCullum. Brendon is one of the best coaches in the world, and he has been successful with the English Test team.”
“You want a person who can lead the team to success in World Cups. You can’t bring someone whose purpose is to grow in the job. This is not the job for a young person. You want the best candidate on the planet to coach the players and help captain Jos Buttler,” he added.
Rahul Dravid recently led India to T20 World Cup glory. Under him, the team has also played in the final of the 2023 WTC Final and the 2023 ODI World Cup. But Eoin Morgan leans more into McCullum, who already had a great effect on England’s Test team.
“I am not sure if Brendon is ready. Rob Key should speak to him because we saw a big turnaround in the Test team. I played under McCullum’s coaching. He was fantastic for New Zealand as a player and captain. He can do wonders for the white-ball sides,” he concluded.
