Kohli last featured in the Ranji Trophy in 2012, when he played under Virender Sehwag against Uttar Pradesh. In that game, Kohli scored 14 and 43, but Delhi lost the match.
The 36-year-old is now set to return to the Ranji Trophy after a 13-year gap. This development involving Kohli and other Indian players comes in after the BCCI made it mandatory for the centrally contracted Indian cricketers to take part in domestic cricket whenever they are available.
