DC To Play Home Matches In Delhi Again: Delhi Capitals will play the remaining of their home matches in the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League in their true home round at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
DC, like many other teams in IPL 2024, has split their home games into multiple venues. The team moved their home base to the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA (shortened to ACA-VDCA Stadium) in Vishakhapatnam for their first couple of home games.
This practice allows the cities and states with no IPL teams but world-class stadiums to host a few league matches and spread the influence of the IPL.
Other teams that will do that this season are – Rajasthan Royals who will play their last two home games in Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati; and Punjab Kings, who have been playing a few of their home games in the majestic HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala for over a decade now.

DC To Play Rest Of Home Matches In Arun Jaitley
As for the Capitals, they played two games in the ACA-VDCA Stadium this season with very different outcomes. The first was against defending champions Chennai Super Kings, which DC surprisingly won in what was their first and so far only win this season.
The other match in Vizag was against the then-league leaders Kolkata Knight Riders. That match was won by Shreyas Iyer and Co. by a whopping 106 runs after they put up a mammoth total of 272.
DC To Play Home Matches In Delhi Again
Now that Delhi will finally see some games in IPL 2024, here are the games Delhi Capitals will play at the Arun Jaitley –
Match 35 between DC and Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 20, Match 40 between DC and 2023 runner-ups Gujarat Titans on April 24, a rematch against Mumbai Indians in Match 43 on April 27, another rematch against Rajasthan Royals in Match 56 on May 7, and a contest against Lucknow Super Giants in Match 64 on May 14.
Delhi Capitals is currently last in the points table with just one win in five matches and a dismal net run rate 9mostly because of the 106-run loss against KKR). With a return to the Arun Jaitley Stadium, good fortunes might return to the team as well.
Their next match, however, will not be played at home. Match 26 of IPL 2024 will see DC take on Lucknow Super Giants on April 12 in Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium.
