Dana White Comments On Mike Tyson Vs Jake Paul: UFC CEO and President Dana White Gave His Honest Opinion on Boxing legend Mike Tyson coming out of retirement to take on influencer/boxer Jake Paul.
After a successful UFC 299 pay-per-view, White was answering questions about the event during the Press Conference. During the event, Dana was asked about Mike Tyson’s upcoming fight. Suffice it to say that the UFC Prez is not thrilled about the 57-year-old Tyson stepping into the ring.
Mike Tyson will take on Jake Paul on June 20, 2024, in the AT&T Stadium in Arlington TX. The event will be showcased on Netflix as the streaming giant steps into the world of live sports. This event will be the first live show of its kind being shown on Netflix as the platform gears up to host weekly and live episodes of WWE’s Monday Night RAW from January 2025.
It has been 18 years since Tyson announced his retirement following his last professional fight in June 2005. The last time he stepped into a boxing ring was for an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr in November 2020.
Mike has had his struggles with addictions and health in the past decade-plus. Although, he has looked in excellent shape for the past few years.

Dana White Comments On Mike Tyson Vs Jake Paul
Despite this, Dana White, who is a long-time friend of Mike Tyson, does not seem thrilled with Tyson stepping into the ring at his age.
“He gets mad when I do this (comment on him), but Mike’s 60, man, I don’t know, what do you guys think about it? Who gives a s*** what I think? It’s not my fight. I love Mike Tyson personally as a friend and he’s one of my favourite athletes of all time,” said White.
He went on to say –
“I don’t like to see guys fighting at it’d be a 31-year age difference during that fight. You guys know what I think of that stuff.”
While other fights for the event have not been announced, this promises to be one of the most-watched boxing events in the history of the sport.
