More than he ever talked about his team, he has been talking about the man on the wheels these days. Every time he was put in front of the frame, he had to talk about India’s long-haired golden boy of a time and when he was gonna hang up the boots once and forever. And this time, it was no different.
When he was asked again about Dhoni’s retirement, the CEO, Kasi Vishwanathan, said that there is only one way for that, and that is MAHI-WAY. The boss has given the complete right to MS for taking the retirement decision himself.
“Dhoni will make the decision himself. He hasn’t informed us yet, and it’s up to him. So far, he hasn’t given us any hints either,” Vishwanathan said.
What Does the Coach Feel About It?
According to CSK Coach Stephen Fleming, they have had plans for Dhoni for around 10 years. He also stated that MS is very much involved and excited now for his 2024 venture, and the team will be looking towards moving forward along with him for now.
“We’ve had plans in place for MS for around 10 years. It’s going to be a topic of discussion, but he is as involved and excited as I’ve seen him in a while. With that passion for the team and franchise, we’ll keep moving forward.”
