Cristiano Ronaldo Spotted in New York: Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s 12ft long statue has been unveiled in Times Square, New York City on the occasion of the star player’s birthday.
The event was organized as a part of the United States promotion of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026, which is co-hosted by the country along with Canada and Mexico.

The statue was made by artist Sergeo Frunari, who posted a video on Instagram inviting Ronaldo fans to get together at the Square and to create a world record in the iconic ‘Siuu’ celebration.
“February 5th, if you love Ronaldo come to Time Square to celebrate. It’s his 40th birthday, don’t miss it. We’re going to beat the world record of the ‘Siu’ celebration!” There has been no word on whether a new world record featuring the iconic goal celebration has been set.
Cristiano Ronaldo turned 40 on February 5, but the star is not showing any signs of slowing down. The all-time great is the world-leading goal scorer in history with 923 career goals and is saying the unique feat of scoring 1000 goals.
Ronaldo has already scored 23 goals in 25 games so far for his club and country. The GOAT will face Al-Fayha FC in the Saudi Pro League on February 6 at the Al-Awwal Park
