The football legend recently inaugurated the brand-new CR7 museum which showcases his career highlights and achievements.

Ronaldo blazed a trail in the football world with his move to Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League in late 2022. Not only did he become the first superstar to bring spotlights to a relatively unknown league, but his transfer also opened the floodgates for several international superstars to join the league. In terms of star power, the Saudi Pro League is on a higher level than certain European Leagues.

Saudi Arabia, which has been attempting to change their image of being an oil economy with the help of sports, has become a hub for sports and entertainment in the past 10 years. The museum, named ‘Museu CR7’ posted a video of the location’s grand opening attended by Ronaldo himself, who also posted the video to his over 600 million Instagram followers. The caption for the post, written from Ronaldo’s perspective, is this –
“This is My Story. From Madeira to Saudi Arabia my CR7 Signature Museum now open in Riyadh.“
The museum is the home of countless CR7 memorabilia. The place chronicles every facet of Cristiano’s career and showcases several trophies and medals earned by the legendary baller, including his five Ballon d’Or awards.

As the centerpiece of the whole place stands a life-size wax statue of Cristiano Ronaldo donning the AL-Nassr kit.
