Cricketer Defrauding Rishabh Pant Caught: Former domestic cricketer Mrinank Singh has been caught by the police for cheating wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant of Rs.1.63 Crore through manipulation.

Singh, who formerly played for Haryana in the Ranji trophy, was caught by the police at Delhi’s IGI airport. The conman was involved in a fraud of Rs.5.53 lakh from a hotel in July 2022. He was leaving for Hong Kong when he was caught.

Mrinank defrauded Rishabh Pant, who is currently recovering from his 2022 car crash and looking forward to a return to the pitch, of Rs. 1.63 Crore back in 2020-21.
Mrinank Singh has been posing as a former IPL player. He claims to have played in the IPL from 2014 to 2018 and portrays himself as a celebrity.
This lie plays into his ruse, as Mrinank targets several luxury hotels and resorts. He deceives people and brands and cheats them for money.

While he never played in the IPL, the 25-year-old played U-19 cricket for Haryana and even represented them in the Ranji Trophy, before choosing an alternate and a less legal career path.
He has done this before. In 2022, he stayed in Delhi’s Taj Hotel and accumulated a bill of Rs. 5.53 lakh. He then checked out without settling the bill, claiming a private firm would pay it up. The hotel did trust him but the money never came through.
