Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali finds it absurd. According to Ali, as quoted by NDTV, MS Dhoni is a legend of the game and it’s not fair to compare Rishabh Pant to him. He asked the fans to let Pant focus on his game.
“Please forgive me. MS Dhoni was a legend, he led India to World Cup wins and the ICC Champions Trophy. Rishabh Pant is doing well, let him focus on his game. Will you compare Shubman Gill with Virat Kohli?” said Basit Ali.
