Bollywood Stars And Politicians Play Cricket: Bollywood stars and politicians will come together to play a game of cricket to raise awareness about the Indian government’s mission to make India a tuberculosis-free country.
The MCA Cricket Ground in Mumbai will host the Neta XI vs Abhineta XI match, which will see a team of netas (politicians) take on a team of abhinetas (actors) in what is being dubbed the TB Mukt Bharat (TB Free India) Awareness Cricket Match on Saturday, March 22, at 5:30 pm.
Lok Sabha member from the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and former Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur took to X and posted an announcement regarding this match. Being a former Ranji Trophy player for Himachal Pradesh (for a short while), Thakur might captain the Neta XI. He wrote this on X.
