Ben Dwarshuis is a left-arm fast-medium bowler from the Sutherland Shire, Australia. He plays for New South Wales cricket team, Sydney Sixers, and Punjab Kings.
Dwarshuis has been a key player for the Sixers since BBL|04 and took the second-most wickets in BBL|10 with 24. He made his List A debut for New South Wales in the 2016–17 Matador Cup but had limited games until the 2020–21 Marsh Cup, where he played three matches and the final, helping NSW beat Western Australia.
He debuted internationally in a T20 match in Lahore in April 2022 and made his Sheffield Shield debut in October 2022, taking a wicket with his first ball. In the 2023–24 summer, he played T20s in India and took 5-21 in the BBL|13 Qualifier final. Dwarshuis made his ODI debut in the 2024 UK tour and has played in the T20 Blast and 2025 PSL. Ben Dwarshuis Personal Life
Ben Dwarshuis was born on 23 June 1994 in Kareela, New South Wales, to an Australian family with Dutch roots. He went to Heathcote High School and is married to Courtney Bridge.
His love for cricket began in his backyard, playing with his dad and younger brother. Bowling to his brother helped him develop his skills early. His father’s passion for cricket inspired him to pursue the game seriously. This early backyard practice eventually led him to play for Australia and in leagues around the world.
