BCCI announces annual player contracts women team India, In the BCCI Central contract list for the upcoming season, Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, and all-rounder Deepti Sharma have been awarded the top A-grade, which is worth INR 50 lakh.
This year, the number of players in the top bracket has been reduced from five to three. Rajeshwari Gayakwad has been downgraded to Grade B, which is worth INR 30 lakh, while Poonam Yadav did not receive a central contract this time.
Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, and Shafali Verma are among the players in Grade B. Jemimah and Richa, along with Renuka Thakur, have been promoted from Grade C to Grade B due to their impressive performances in the last year, particularly in the 2022 Women’s World Cup and the T20 World Cup 2023.
