After a horrible injury and being stretchered out of the field in Barcelona’s last La Liga game against Villareal, star goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s medical report is out. The player has ruptured his knee tendon, which will possibly lead him to lose the rest of the season.
Barcelona won the game 5-1, but the win was tainted by their captain’s horrible injury. It was suspected that the player might miss the season earlier, and as the report came out on Monday, September 13, the speculation became right.
